Hello! This post is actually a request from my best friend Katie! She has been going on many interviews lately but was not sure how to dress. The reason why wearing the proper attire to an interview is important is because it is the first thing your future employer notices about you. It shows them if you are professional and if you are serious about the position. Now some people ask, what if it's just a job at the mall or at a fast food restaurant? The way you dress is still important.
-At a retail job you will still want to dress professionally but add a pop of color or a stylish accessory to show you fit into the retail business.
-For most other jobs you want to dress in neutral colors, think black, grey, beige. Keep your hair back so it does not get in the way during the interview. Make sure your top is not low cut and if you are wearing a pencil skirt, that it is no more than 3 inches above the knee.
I put together some outfit ideas for any interview that you have coming up!
